Acoustics for project planners in heating, water and sanitation

Target group

This course is similar to the course for architects and designers, but from the perspective of the project planner in heating, water and sanitation. During the course a complete acoustic project plan for an FTX system with cooling is drafted.

Contents

  • What does an acoustician do – what can you normally expect an acoustician to contribute to your project
  • Acoustic requirements – current standards and history
  • Control measurements – how requirements can be verified
  • Acoustic project planning – which acoustic aspects should be considered in the project and when
  • Sound-proofing – how do walls and joists work
  • Step sound level – floors, floor coverings, suspended false ceilings
  • Façades – windows, walls and outdoor air apparatus
  • Installations – how do you sound-damp a ventilation plant? What can heating, water and sanitation demand of architects and designers?
