External Industrial Noise

Industries today are more and more seldom located in sparsely inhabited areas. There are usually homes, schools, workplaces or recreational areas in their vicinity. People who live in the area do not want to be affected by either odour, exhaust fumes, noise or vibrations.

By engaging ACAD at an early stage in industrial project planning, mistakes that are both costly and time-consuming can be avoided. We are engaged for both new, remodelling and extension construction projects where project-adapted solutions are integrated in the planning of the other specialties in order to reduce external industrial noise.

External industrial noise can be calculated theoretically with good precision using our calculation program Cadna/A. For larger projects, three-dimensional base data for mapping, to which are added planned buildings and sound sources, is requisitioned. Industrial noise can then be calculated in relation to the existing buildings in the area.
