ACAD-International AB has participated in several product development projects that have led to completely new technical solutions with new acoustic and dynamic characteristics.

Work begins with a precise description of the desired characteristics. Efficient search engines on the Internet and an extensive contact network with researchers at colleges and universities give us ample insight into the front-line of knowledge. Then an idea phase follows. Everyone in the company takes part in proposing ideas for solutions. If you are going to follow new routes, you need creativity, something we are careful to have in the company.

Out of a thousand ideas, some are good and practicable. One of them leads to the results the customer requires.

So far, in acoustics we have managed, among other things, to create sound-proofing folding walls, systems for echo-free rooms, light fixtures with sound-diffusing properties, light fixtures with sound-absorbing properties, outdoor air apparatus with mufflers for traffic noise, sound-damping transmitted air apparatus, a new construction system for sound class B, apparatus with low generation of native sound, soundless choke valves for ventilation systems, sound absorbers with 100% sound absorption below 40 Hz, false ceilings for auditoriums that diffuse the sound among all listeners, vandal-resistant input air apparatus with high intake damping, cleanable output air apparatus with high intake damping, floors with good step sound damping, sterile porous sound absorbers for the food processing industry and much more.
